Our lodge is set 8 minutes along the Barry Way on the serene flowing Moonbah River, home to our resident platypus and abundant trout.
The mountainous backdrop that surrounds us provides a breathtaking view of the valley, giving rise to amazing sunsets.
The Lodge
Our spacious home has an open plan kitchen and living area, 3 generous bedrooms the main with an ensuite, walk in robe and a sun nook. Thermostat Heated flooring and a built-in wood fireplace ensures the house stays warm in the winter months.
The kitchen has all new modern appliances and is fully equipped to cater to all your needs. An internal laundry and an external drying room complete the facilities.
The story..
After spending many ski seasons with family and friends we decided that our own slice of this gorgeous high-country was for us. The search took us from Thredbo to Dalgety and everywhere in between. The moment we set foot on the land that now houses River K Lodge we knew we had struck gold.
Our vision has always been to capture the natural elements of this beautiful location, and with the help of our local architect and builders, we have created a 3-bedroom homestead that perfectly embodies this vision.
From the moment you step through our doors, you will notice the care and attention we have given to every detail, ensuring that the beauty of the landscape is reflected in every corner of our homestead. Large windows allow natural light to stream in, bathing our homestead in warm sunshine, while providing unrestricted views of the surroundings.

Lounge Room
Our open space living area is designed for ultimate comfort capturing light from each direction. It features a 75 inch smart TV, DVD and sound bar.
Bedroom 1
Features a Queen Bed with a gorgeous outlook, oversized walk in robe, a large built in sun nook/daybed and wall mounted TV. The Ensuite is beautifully appointed with a walk in shower, floor heating and heated towel rails.
Bathroom
A large modern bathroom with walk in shower, a Bali stone bathtub, floor heating and heated towel rails.
Kitchen
A well appointed kitchen awaits featuring modern top brand cooking appliances a coffee machine and a pantry with some everyday essentials for you to use.

Features a Queen Bed, built in robe and a 2 seater couch.
Laundry
Fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer, sink and large clothes airer.

The open plan dining room seats up to 8 people.

Outdoor
Our east facing deck is a large space overlooking the river with a large redwood bench seat and riverside fire pit. Our west facing deck features a BBQ. Our undercover carport hosts two car spots and a shed setup as a drying room.
